It’s been a few sleep-deprived months heading into my latest photography session. My wife and I are sharing the ups and downs within our household with our latest creation, Harrison Casey Vesely. He joined us on 05/15/15 and has been changing our life daily. It’s been an amazing change to our lives and we just love every minute (Even if it’s in the middle of the night when he won’t sleep) with this little guy. With the hours of sleep lost at nights, I have to be extra careful when planning my photography sessions as I can easily forget something that’s needed for the shoot.
This is what happened when I arrived at 5-mile for Joe & Kayla’s shoot. I had forgotten my trigger for my lighting equipment :-/ Luckily, my wife was able to sit Harrison down in the carseat and promptly deliver the trigger after I took Joe & Kayla out for a few natural light portraits.
I get a kick out of these two and had one of the more unique announcements I’ve done (You can see that below before the engagement sessions). They have some unique ideas and it will be cool to see and capture these ideas integrated into their wedding up in Portland, Oregon in January. Not only that, but it will be fun to get to share that experience with them.
We had some awesome light near the end of our session in a field (Actually was right off the road) on the way to New Clairvaux Winery. It was hot, but fun.
