Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year! It’s been over 5 months since my last post and a lot has already happened in the new year. Harrison started crawling, standing, and walking (with his wagon). He’s grown so much and the time has just flown by! I also had the pleasure of going up to Portland for Joe and Kayla’s wedding!
It started with an 8-hour drive where I joined them for their rehearsal dinner at a brewery (Laurelwood) where I had some delicious brew along with some great company. Joe and I talked breweries in Portland (There are lots of them) and we got to meet Kayla’s very tall family. I always thought Kayla was tall, but she was actually the shortest within her family! Her and Joe are going to have some basketball players on their hands if they have kids.
Saturday, we spent the day getting ready in a nearby hotel and then headed over to the West End Ballroom in downtown Portland. The ceremony had dim, romantic lighting which brought out the couple everyone was there to see. After the ceremony, everyone headed upstairs for an amazing dinner with lots of dancing. It was a great night and weekend trip.
